Meet the all-new Propero 4 helmet - it brings the aerodynamic benefits of the S-Works Evade 3 along with the ventilation of the S-Works Prevail 3, all with the comfort and confidence Specialized helmets are renowned for, and has earned the highest five-star rating from Virginia Tech®. Every detail of the Propero 4 was created with our speed equation in mind. Aerodynamics + ventilation + light weight = speed. AERODYNAMICS: Through extensive testing in CFD and our Win Tunnel, aerodynamics were at the forefront of our development. We took the aerodynamic leading edge from the S-Works Evade 3 and transferred it directly to the Propero 4, making it four watts, or 15 seconds per 40km, faster than our S-Works Prevail 3. VENTILATION: We took inspiration from our popular S-Works Prevail 3, but our goal was not just to copy it, but to elevate it. Ventilation became the focal point of our quest for a balanced, aerodynamic and ventilated helmet. We incorporated the design of the rear of the S-Works Prevail 3 and introduced small 2mm offset micro-channels that create turbulence in the airflow throughout the helmet to help create a continuous, refreshing airflow. ATTENTION TO DETAIL: Beyond the aerodynamics and ventilation itself, the Propero 4 represents meticulous attention to detail. We've taken care to incorporate the latest technologies from our S-Works tier into the helmet, such as MIPS technology to ensure confidence, and a fit system designed to provide all-day comfort.
