Body Geometry: Like every Body Geometry shoe, the Recon 3.0 is ergonomically designed and scientifically proven to improve comfort, increase performance, and reduce the likelihood of injury for every rider with patented technology, while also increasing power by 7 watts - backed by science. Stride Technology: Stride technology provides a flexible sole and upper around the toe area combined with a rigid lock pocket, allowing the boot to flex easily while walking and remain stiff and efficient while pedaling. High Performance and Efficiency: the Recon 3.0 takes cable routing, Boa driver placement, and carbon plate directly from our S-Works Recon model. Two premium Li2 Boa drivers offer optimized adjustability and customization, while cable routing provides a locked-in feel and minimizes movement in the boot. A carbon plate keeps the Recon 3.0 light and stiff for optimal pedaling performance, not to mention we've shaved 10 grams from the previous generation. The Body Geometry outsole and insole have been ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to increase power, efficiency, durability, and reduce the risk of injury by optimizing the hip-knee-foot line. STRIDE toe-flex carbon technology allows natural toe movement off the bike, but remains stiff when pedaling (stiffness index 10.0) Fully welded upper reduces the number of seams for greater comfort when slipping on.
