Each frame has a unique layout of carbon layers, orientations, amount of material in specific areas, and sometimes exclusive thicknesses and types of carbon itself.
Aerodynamics are the most important thing that can make you faster, but with the Tarmac we've added aero without affecting the weight of the bike. Through development, we discovered three areas where we could add aero "for free" - a new fork shape, lowered seatstays, and a D-shaped seat tube and seat tube. The result? A Tarmac that's about 30 seconds faster at 40 kilometres.
The updated geometry is based on numerous Retül data points and feedback from professional riders. This has allowed us to develop a Performance Road geometry that perfectly combines a responsive front end and short wheelbase to provide instant response and optimal power transfer.
