With a premium E5 alloy frame and all-carbon FACT fork, the Diverge E5 delivers a fast, confident and comfortable ride on the road, in the mud and over coarse gravel. The Shimano Claris 2x8 groupset provides a wide gear range for any terrain, while the Axis Elite alloy wheels and Pathfinder Sport 38mm tires provide an efficient on-road ride with versatility for riding on tough terrain. Our Premium E5 aluminum frame provides a rigid, lightweight and durable platform. Paired with our FACT all-carbon fork, the Diverge Base E5 becomes a light, lively and versatile bike ready to attack any surface. We took the original "status-quo" gravel geometry and threw it out the window. The new Diverge has the most progressive geometry we've ever created for a ram-assist bike, giving riders a capable and stable all-terrain bike that's also nimble and agile on the road. We've increased the reach of the frame, introduced a lighter head tube and given the fork a longer offset. All of this creates an incredible confidence that makes you feel like you're planted in the terrain like a plant in the soil. The shorter stems keep the overall cockpit length the same and the handling is very lively. We kept the center low to increase stability, but high enough to use 650b wheels if that's your cup of coffee. We've placed a number of rack mounts on the Diverge, including a fork mount and top frame tube, so you can take everything you need with you no matter how far you plan to ride or how long you plan to stay out. Nothing unlocks a bike's capabilities like room for a wide shell. That's why we've given the new Diverge a whopping 47mm of clearance in the fork with the 700c wheel and 2.1" with the 650b wheel. With a chainstay on the side of the chain with a solid aluminum lug behind the derailleurs, we've created clearance without the threat of the chain falling off or having to extend the chainstay.
